Warm Months Halfway Point

Today's the 15th, man, so that means we're halfway through the summer months. Being a "man of cool weather" I'm always counting down the days towards fall. Concerning June, July and August, well, we're halfway through 'em.It's all downhill to September.Of course, I've got a couple obligatory ruminations on the subject regarding, "How Fast Times Seems To Whip On By." But I've beat that horse to death. Instead, just know this: I've been busy as fuck alllll summer long and if the monster lists in my Field Notes have anything to say, well, they'll say this much: "We've got a mountain of shit done so far..." And of course, have mountains to still climb. Just how we like it.Hope everyone's summer is going well. Back to it.- - - -THEY'VE GOT MY VOTE: Ely's Olympic bid for 2016!- - - -SCOTTY NICE!: Scott Howard updates, and man, some nice stuff is going down. When I look at a link like this, and then think about the modern brewery experience, you just get to thinkin', "Man, everything sure has gone to shit." - - - -ONE OF MY ALL-TIME FAVES: A postcard set of Lester Beall's Rural Electrification Administration posters from back in the day. A patriot.I wrote a paper on the guy in school. Such a great story. I heavily recommend picking up a copy of this one. After years of a successful career in the city, he moved his studio to the country into a barn. Everyone came along and everything. So awesome. Something to think about.- - - -ALWAYS BACK TRACK THE URL A COUPLE CLICKS: And be sure to dig around here. Hey Rohloff from Farmer's Brewing! This link got me fired up for the upcoming project!
