Walking up to the scene, with the old man working on something.

And him becoming aware of my presence.

Jim Draplin, asking me what the distraction was all about.

My dad drives some weird Mercury station wagon these days. And man, those back windows have ALWAYS freaked me out. And of course, he loves them and presents them to you, proud as hell.

Regarding his vanity plate, “This has got me out of two tickets. The cop said, ‘I don’t give tickets to Santa.’ No shit, Aaron.” Wow. Good strategy.

One of my favorite “Stuff Birdhouse” masterpieces in the back yard. Dad makes these beasts.

Everything has a home on these.

Some pretty boss type there on that CNBC wordmark. Damn. You just never know where you’ll see this shit. Thick forms.

That birdhouse is damn hell-ass amazing. Some deft spacial awareness going on there. Tight, and it all fits.
