WHY JAPAN KICKS OUR BUTT: Typographic town logos in Hiragana/Katakana.

I’m just keep gonna my big mouth shut, America. We got a long way to go. Let’s get to work. (Rochester NY’s very own Daron McKee. Thank you!)

LOTS OF UPDATES OVER THERE: We updated the DDC “Proud Customer Merch Gallery,” and well, there’s more than enough proof there for ya that we’re pretty serious about our DDC goods. Not to be messed with.

- - - -

FOR HIRE, PEOPLE: Hey World: Here’s Sean Barnhart! Hire him for a juicy project. Very recommended by the DDC.

SPOTTED BACK IN MINNEAPOLIS: Here’s from from brother Jon Baugh back there in Minneapolis. Thank you, buddy! Good eye, as always.

FOR FUTURE REFERENCE, HUNTERS OF JUNK AND TREASURE: A Continuous Lean’s googlish “The Flea Market Way” guide. Hell of a resource. Get out there people. Get dirty. Steer clear of the lacquered John Wayne clocks and yahoo’s with headsets peddling Sham Wow let downs.

I can’t believe no has commented on this. These pieces are so insanely good and work on so many levels it’s scary. They are Graphic, Iconic, Informative, Gorgeous and Inspired. It would be depressing if it wasn’t so amazing.

Man that makes me miss Japan all over again! Maybe I will have to start visiting twice a year. Spend just an hour on the trains and its design overload. By the way, I got a couple of pictures for ya some cool name plates form over there.
