With a swipe of the DDC Gold card, we find ourselves slumbering on the outskirts of Iowa City, IA. Day 02 is done, but of course, I’ll be setting type late into the night. Time to get some shit done.

I thought we’d get farther, but got a bit of a slow start out of Chicago this afternoon. That big ruffneck of a city made it real hard on us, with bumper-to-bumper traffic for a good 20 miles out to the ‘burbs. Quite a city, you are. Relentless.

Anyhoo, we had a “rather paper-ish” summit meeting with upper brass of Coudal Partners today, and wrote about it.
