Got up and hammered around the city some today. It’s a big place, and it’s cold as hell out. Highlights include hitting a Muji store, beautiful stationery shops, a Berlin burrito and riding the train, freaking out at all the sobering architecture for apartments and stuff.

There’s so much history to think about here. World War II intensity, Cold War espionage, the wall, the wall coming down, etc. So much. My mind is just swirling with classic archival photos and what not.

Having a good time with my buddy Bob. Missing Leigh and Gary and home and mom and dad, etc.

Man…I didn’t know there was a Muji in Berlin. They make the best glycerin soap I’ve ever used. Soap shouldn’t make you happy to be alive, but they’ve gone n’ done it!
Glad you’re having a good time!

My man,

Oh boy, are you wearing like a beret and shit now? LISTEN UP: We’ve got a nervous Chris Metzler on our hands here. We should be wrapping up the Waylong project right about now and here you are— gone on walkabout. Probably not the best place for this kind of missive. But what can a poor boy do? Get at me dawg…
