THIS STUFF HURTS: Frigidaire loses whatever the hell was left of their “cool, old type.” Oh well. Too tired to write anything about this other than: Of course they would. This is how shit sells. Reinvent, reinvent, reinvent. Yawn. I’m drunk on nostalgia, I guess. Burrrrp.

Should just go back to this one. I’m offering no analysis to back up why they should.

I know this much, the Maytag super fridge I have at the house works incredibly weel, and was made in Iowa, but, the logo is a complete piece of shit. Some truth on a Wednesday. (Propaganda Clay tipped me off on this one.)

SHE’S GOT THE FIRE: Readymade goes after Kate Bingaman-Burt. Portland action! Read all about it right here, then, light a fire under yer ass and get to work.

ONLY ONE OF THE GREATEST THINGS I’VE EVER SEEN: You just can’t go wrong with tractor shows. Awesome.

WAY MORE ENERGY THAN YOU: Yep, Kate Bingaman-Burt, again. Get a download of her workspace. I want a tour, KB-B! Fun stuff, people!

GOOD EYE, GOOD EYE: Douglas from On Paper Wings sent this one in: Space Center, Inc. I like the type the most.

Here’s a set he’s working up called, “Random Phone Uploads.” I think it’s awesome.

That may very well be one of the best logos I’ve ever seen. The slab serif, the crown, the offset F. There’s so much to love about it.

I visit your site all the time and love the web scouring you do. I love my Field Notes as well, they’re super useful!

The last fridge I bought had that cool script logo on it. Hell, that was one of the reasons I bought it!

I concur doctor. Reminds me of the creativelabs logo/gayness.

The whole Frigidaire thing just pisses me off.

I honestly wonder if American will ever make it back to a point where crap like this isn’t getting pumped out. Where the creative class are left to make the creative decisions and the corporate morons stay in their desks (where they so obviously belong) doing long division.
