Made it over to Shawano, Wisc. by noon down from Escanaba.

I had a little business to tend to with Chad and Domenic from Farmer’s Brewing. I got the full tour of their building and had a hearty lunch down the street at Luigi’s. Aside from the bees that were messing with us, the meeting was great and the logo I’m working up for them is on it’s way, with the first round in their hands. Can’t wait to see what we come up with. Fun stuff. Beer stuff. Hell yes. Thanks, Farmers!

And yes, we downed a couple ice-cold Sun Drops. Good shit.

Out of Shawano, we drove over to Wausau, got all screwed up and ended upā€”for whatever hairbrained reasonā€”going wayyy north, up past Tomahawk all the up to Minocqua. Took a wrong turn and ended up in the goddamn Northwoods.

And man, it was beautiful. The sunset over all the lakes we passed by. The “breeching walleye” motif on every other hotel sign. Tackle shops. Ice cream stands. Hell yes. The Northwoods, people. Gotta love ‘em.

Fuck yes. Sweet nectar…next time I am up at my parents place I will have to hunt down the mother of all empty sundrop cases. Each of the 16 slots contains a bottle with different labeling - probably 40 years of caffeinated design history there.
