No idea what’s going on above, but it sure is a looker.

It’s from Eric Baker’s daily inspiration blast, which has been on fire all week! Man. Dangerous bytes.

Next time I come to New York, I’m gonna meet that Eric Baker, and we’re gonna get to the bottom of some shit. So good. Hell yes. That’s a threat! Can’t wait to see that book!

REAL GOOD METAL, PEOPLE: Chromeography. Do some searches, get blown away. Good deal, really. (Ryan Werth turned the DDC on to this one. Thanks!)

WE’RE ALWAYS CALLING FOR “MORE COLOR”: …and Les Burns comes to our rescue with this colorful go-go joint in his hometown, and, this story about the deal,

“The short story behind the paint job on the building is that the guy who owned the building was always lockin’ horns with the local officials over L & I stuff. This was his F You answer to one of their votes over his property. Paint the whole damn thing in vibrant stripes, just to piss them off. He was a bit of a legend round these parts in his day. He has recently died and when his children took possession of the building, they shut it down. The best part is they want to sell the “eyesore” to a developer, but apparently the building is protected by a historical society! It was once a stage coach stop in like the 1850’s, so it is here to stay, for now.”

There you go, readers. When the man’s on yer case, paint the whole damn thing in vibrant stripes. My kind of motherfucker.
