LET IT RING!: It’s been a good summer for rock projects. First, I’m wrapping up the album design for Richmond Fontaine’s newest long player, slated for a late summer release. Wayyyy proud of this one. We’ve been in high level talks with Portland’s YACHT enterprise too. And to top it all off, I’m just about done with the album design for Chuck Prophet’s latest, ¡Let Freedom Ring.

Of course, I can’t show any of the stuff just yet, but, if you want to see Chuck’s cover we’re wrapping up, watch this kick-ass little video right here detailing the process of making the album down in Mexico City at the height of the Swine Flu scare a couple months back. At the end of the vid you’ll see the cover design. Hell yes. Very proud of my work with Mr. Prophet and all associated parties.

It’s been a pleasure getting to know Chuck over the phone. Interesting fella. Has had quite a run with this stuff. I’m a Green On Red fan, so it’s been a treat to shoot the shit with him the last month. Thanks, man!

FLAT-OUT FLATTERED: Aaron Scamihorn did a kick-ass illustration of my ugly mug on his site. Wow. Tough material to work with, eh?! Ha. So gross. But hell, check out some of his other creations. Cool shit.

Scamihorn gave up a hell of a fight in Layer Tennis a couple weeks back up against Inman. Fun stuff. Big talent from both of those brawlers.

I’ll tell you this much, I’m not saying a damn thing to get this guy riled up. Hell no. Thanks, Ron! Keep up the good work, man.
