Of course, the good people over at Coudal are up to another interesting project. This time around it’s called Swap Meat and they’ve got a deal going where you send in something you made, and they’ll send something they made back. Simple transaction. Everyone wins. So good. Fair bartering of goods. Like the old days.

So we sent them a couple of items we’ve been working on over the last year.

Much excitement fills us as we say these words: Field Notes.

It’s our new project. Shit’s been pretty much top-secret, as we hunt our great nation in search of the perfect cover stock, most-durable writing innards and ballistic staples. These memo books will be completely “Made in America,” with proud fists pumped in the air.

Things are still under wraps. Expect a full launch soon, in conjunction with the smart minds over at Coudal Partners.

This one is gonna be good, and man, we can’t wait to push it off into the big world. We’ve got a “sheet team” assembled and pages are being filled all across the globe. Good people with big ideas are writing, drawing and conjuring up bigger ideas on their Field Notes pages. Much pride is felt knowing folks have the real estate they need.

Many thanks go out to all the trusted colleagues who have been using them over the last year. Our time is coming soon.

Please stay tuned for more Field Notes news, and soon. Real Good™.

Amazed at how often I see people ‘round here using these little books. Simple, stylish and useful as an Ipod, without the price tag or headphones. Can’t beat it.
