No Sleep 'Til We Set Sail...

Still pletty blown away by Alberta and the beauty that lies within her.

It’s the middle of August, and while the rest of the nation sweats, Portland weighs in at a comfortable 63 degrees. This precisely, folks, is why we love this town.

Back for the attack, knocking projects dead left and right. We are gonna try to split on Sunday night. Hard to say if we’ll hit that date or not. Gonna spend a night with J2 in Salt Lick City chasing loose dames, then, over to Denver to hang check in with Gary Aleshire, then, out into that Great Prairie landscape, towards Minneapolis. We got plans.

Oh, we finally are starting to “scratch the surface” on the monumental DDC Online Portfolio undertaking. So far, we’ve got these chapters built out, so, get a load of what we do:

01. Coal Headwear Case Study
02. DDC Identity Studies

More stuff on the way, when we can squeeze it in.

I love Canada. Always have. Hockey, accents and weird sweaters. One thing I love about Canada is the abundance of great logos everywhere. The country has beautiful design in the spots where the US just sorta “keeps doing what it always does.” Thank you, Canada.

I about died here: The Canadian Design Resource, eh!

So good.

Someone who goes by “London Calling 1979” sent this kick-ass link in: Wild ads. Thanks.

Yikes, Amazing and downright Unsettling.

Loving the Canada-ness. Perhaps you will appreciate this, from the O-fficial website:

Best of luck on your trip! Am currently in scenic North FLA—the opposite of Canada, sort of, depending on how you look at it…. Love to you and Gary; have fun!
