RIG UPDATE: That new Volvo is purring along so well. I’ve put on a whopping 3,400 miles since the big purchase in November. Six miles down Sandy to the shop. Six miles back. The hard life.

FROM MY HOMELAND: Get yer pierogi on with this one: “Crime Novel Covers from Poland.”

I’ve got Polish blood run through 50% of this carcass. Facts are stubborn things.

HERE’S A QUICK ONE: From the masterful hand of Lance Wyman, for the Minnesota Zoo. My old MCAD buddy Justin Braehm sent this one in forever ago, and it’s been on ice on the machine here. And now is the time to get in on the site, once and for all. There you go. Lance Wyman. One of the best, ever.

SPEAKING OF ZOO LIFE: The saddest places, ever, I think. Here’s a little photo set from our buddy Neil Dacosta here in Portland. He visited the zoo, and man, those animals looks sad as hell. I like thinking about those animals getting out of the cage and kicking some ass. Payback, motherfuckers. The kind of stuff we think about. Nice work, Neir. Always.

FOUR-WHEELED FRIENDS: When in Ashland, be sure to stop in at the Foundry Shop for cool stuff. Stuff like this! This one come in from a representative from the TECHVECTOR enterprise, and you know if they’ve got their hands into things, it’s gonna be tight. Southern Oregon, people. Now, when someone mentions Ashland, you can think about this joint, instead of all that Shakespeare shit.

Please don’t post sad animal pictures ever again. I need a hug.
