ONE OF OUR FAVORITE LOGOS OF ALL TIME: That old Boise Cascade masterpiece. Not too much to say regarding this one. Real good.

EVAN HANDED DOWN A SIGN WITH THIS SLOGAN ON IT, INTO THE HANDS TO THE DDC: “Keep Oregon Green” and today we finally brought it into the shop to discuss how old the thing might be. Looks like about 50 years old. Wow. Well, we didn’t take a picture of the sign, due to a general uneasy atmosphere of being “fucking busy as hell” hanging low over the DDC factory floor. But don’t fret, we found something pretty good, as we never aim to disappoint. Click here for some green, green Oregon. And feel good about it, you shits.

THINK YOU KNOW A LITTLE ABOUT ORNAMENTAL TYPOGRAPHY FROM YESTERYEAR?: Well, think again. With this link right here called “Sanborn Fire Insurance Map Typography.” Yes. Great shit. Beautiful. (Thank you Chris Hanis!)

GOOD LOOKIN’ WEAR-N-TEAR ON THESE ONES: John Abella goes through a lot of Field Notes, and here’s a shot to prove it. Good shit, man!
