We headed out of Spokane, and made our way down to Kennewick, Walla Walla and down to Umatilla. Junkin’ the whole way. Lots of deserted stretches and big western high desert expanses.

Once we got down to I-84, Dale got “into the zone” and guided us all the way into Portland.

A good mission, all in all. In those two days, we rescued a good suitcase of treasures, and I even managed to complete a logo design that you’ll be hearing a lot about, very soon. Working on stuff from the back seat of Big S, while Dale drove and Jess navigated. What part of “Mobile Command Unit” don’t you understand? Got the job done, and that’s what matters.

We got back into Portland in the early evening, to little to no fanfare. Already planning up the next junkin’ mission. You can bet yer ass on that one.

I’ll post some “full color images” as soon as I can. Stuff you should see from the mean streets of Spokane.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
