Leigh’s on the job across town tonight. Gary and I are in the shop “going late.” Simple things. Filling orders. Working up vector art-based designs. Wondering about the ’80s. LIstening to records. Watching traffic whip up and down “The Five.”

We’ve got a new Flickr set up and we’re calling it, “17 “First Day of Issue” United Nation Envelopes.”

And we hope you dig it.

WATCHED LATE LAST NIGHT: Dr. Bronner’s Magic Soapbox. Recommended in a big way.

Dang. The World Food Council envelope is perfect.

And I love the total disregard of the “Roy G. Biv” virtually everywhere a rainbow image was used.

Brilliant, top to bottom. Thank you.

Unrelated to any of the above, but haven’t seen you mention it:

Warner Home Video has announced a Blu-ray release of The Shawshank Redemption for the 2nd December. Retail will be $34.99. Extras will include a commentary by director Frank Darabont, 2 documentaries (Hope Springs Eternal: A Look Back at The Shawshank Redemption, Shawshank: The Redeeming Feature), a Charlie Rose Show Segment featuring Darabont, Robbins and Freeman, a Shark Tank Redemption spoof, a photo gallery, storyboards, and the trailer. In addition to that, the set will also include a collector’s bonus book loaded with photos, film trivia, and cast info.
