OH MAN, WE’VE GOT SOMETHING COOKING UP: Can barely even hold it together typing this one out I’m so excited. A new promo item showed up today that is…just…fucking amazing. You are gonna die. You need these.

HOW THESE THINGS GET MADE: Storyboards from No Country For Old Men. I love this film. (From Jerms out there in Boise.)

ONE OF THE THINGS WE’VE BEEN WORKING ON: A mini documentary about, well, “Me.” My buddy Jess Gibson has been shooting me talking and junkin’ and ramblin’ and so on. Insane, really. Super fun, and, really makes ya squirm to hear/see yerself on film. Wild. Excited as all hell to see it all come together. Gigantic foot in my mouth. Big talent from Mr. Gibson, folks. Thanks, Jess.

JUST BECAUSE: The first “Yah!” in MC5’s “Kick Out The Jams” off Kick Out The Jams Motherfuckers is basically the best “Yah” ever. But we all knew that. Just a little reminder.

Here’s a version of it off French Television, from a long time ago. And one from Tartar Field in Detroit. 1970.

PRETTY MUCH THE BEST FLICKR SET, EVER: “The 1930s-40s in Color.” Instead of yapping about how good these are, instead, I’m gonna spend my time enjoying them. Beautiful. Like you were standing there with them. America, people.

JUST COULDN’T HELP MYSELF: And for all you Hollywood “Set Designer” dicks who continually “design” horrid backdrops using typography from the wrong period and all that, well, there are some lessons to be learned in these amazing images. Get it right, fuckers!

ONE LAST ONE, BEFORE THE WEEKEND: Portland’s own FeelGoodAnyway relaunches their site. Great stuff.
