Hammering all day on mechanicals. Nothing else. Brad is here and we are focused like scientists, hedging our bets on a “Monday night completion” of these motherfuckers. Catalogs, man, catalogs. Lots of pages, lots of stuff. Coal has two this year: One at 66 pages, and another one at 28 pages. Feeling a bad case of “Pagination Blues,” people.

Brad had this to say, at 11:27 in the PM, “Nothing like a kosher dill pickle to keep you going.”

We ain’t afraid of midnight. Let’s do it.

Neir sends in some real “end of the world” shit all the way from Nigeria, and all I can think is, “Whoa, a look into the life after the Apocalypse?” Scary stuff: The Hyena Men of Nigeria.

Dude, I just rented this movie the other day - shit freaked me out in 1980 whatever. The idea that the Russians would begin their invasion at my high school put the fucking fear of God into me at the time. And I know it sounds stupid now, but the Swayz’ did a great job of keeping his cool and getting me pumped to fight for freedom (I’m being totally serious now by the way) - Free America motherfuckers!! Wolveriiiiiiines!!!

WOW! This used to be one of my faves growing up during the Cold War, GI Joe/Transformers era. In fact my friends and I would run around the woods with sticks yelling WOLVERIIINES! It’s a little unnerving to watch now and see all of the anti-Soviet/Cuban sentiment common to most ’80s films. Regardless, nice fuckin’ reference Aaron.
