WILKOM_STICKERS.jpg

I’m wild about Impko stickers. I’m wild about those crazy-ass Pennsylvania Dutch designs. I’m wild about eBay. Put it all together, and well, check out the goodness.

From the placard that came with the stickers,

“Traces of belief in sorcery and magic still persist, including the practice of curing illnesses by “powwowing” and hexes. The beautiful hex designs which decorate the homes and barns of the Pennsylvania Dutch may have had their origin as a religious symbol thirty-two hundred years ago in Cret. Today the Pennsylvania Dutch farmer uses them to brighten his home.”

As does the DDC, and hell, we’ll take whatever voodoo/anti-venom shit they might offer up too.

“Pennsylvania Dutch…”

That’s me. When German immigrants arrived in the US the customs/INS agents asked them about their country of origin. They all answered, “deuschtland” and so they were labeled Dutch… Go figure.

As far as those protective hexes go: You should find one that’s intended to keep the Far NE Meth Heads out of Gary’s watering ground.
