TEN THINGS TO CHECK OUT
Posted at 01:42 AM

01. Coming soon. We handled the graphic design of this book.

02. Nice type, nice ephemera, nice craft can be found here.

03. Putting in an order real soon. Check out those fuckin’ “turnaround times”, eh?

04. I spend an amazing amount of time at other places, after spending very little time at this place.

05. I follow Mark’s life more closely than 95% of the people I know. “Mark’s Journal” down below is where to go for all the action.

06. Nice.

07. You look up and you just gotta wonder.

08. I miss passing by this beauty up every couple of days.

09. Nice, nice affordable items for yer desk. The sort of stuff folks pick up and go, “Whoa, where’d you find this?” This is the place.

10. Mr. Blender.

The beauty you speak of has graced the hoards often this summer. The heat has been sweltering (88 degrees in Talkeetna yesterday) Anchorage has hit the seventies consisently. 6 new record high temps for the month of July, including the hottest July day ever on record in Anchorage. Trains are running smooth & cool. The kids in the pit are loving life, shedding pounds by the gallon.

The MUJI stuff is great. I haven’t been back to London since 98 but last time I was there, I picked up some bathroom products and stationary. It’s a shame there isn’t really a place in the States where you can pick up quality products, that are both brandless and cleanly designed. Utilitarian in nature.

Is that the same skating Neil Blender?

Draplin-

Great to see the Neil Blender link. It reminded me of the “Nothing’s Cool” artwork he did back in the day. Go here for a Blender interview:

Nice work on the Sullivan book. I can’t wait to see it.

Gearing up for Derek’s bachelor party. I just settled on some new Rectors. I think after 10 years of pad stank and 5 years of duct taping them at every session, it was time. Also busted out some old OJ Street Razors. Durometer: 95A for the ‘crete clover bowl. Was hoping you could swing back for the occasion. Y’know-fly ino GR-an in-and-out deal.

Anyway-looks like you are balls-to-the-wall busy.

Keep well,

-E
