I am not comfortable with the happenings of the past two days and learning so many details just sickens me….our lives will never be the same and our future is unpredictable….

Big D: I’m both shocked and in awe at this very praiseworthy display of graphics. Nicely done, I love how you’ve taken elements of the current media fiasco and reduced them to televangelical soundbites and/or graphics. Beautiful beautiful stuff, and in great contrast to the cluttered, scrolling, multi-layered, lightning-fast-edited news TV that has become the norm (a la your 3/19/03 post).

chris, first off, you wont get drafted. if you do, do your darndest to get a job doing graphic design. designing propaganda. (hows that for a portfolio builder…) my dad designed instruction manuals for grenade launchers and mortars in the army; and a good friend of mine jeff illustrated leaflets (land mine safety and anti-regime propaganda) that were dropped all over asia. they have like three small offset presses and color copiers on some battleship in the red sea pumping the shit out.

Shit, if Nakamoto got drafted, and hells bells–what a dire situation we’d have to be in to get to that point–the Armed Forces could use that Chystal Gayle-esque mane of his for many uses:

1. Parachute straps.
2. Dogtag chains.
3. Special Ops wigs/mustache kit.
4. Hair trigger filaments.

Draplin, good to seen you last week, its always good to spend time with you. Naomi and I had a nice afternoon with you. Are there any PBR’s left.
