TONIGHT’S THE NIGHT, WATERLOO: Waterloo’s very own Jon Johnson of Bearface Design seduced us with a chance to come to Waterloo, and we met his challenge! We’re here, we’re ready and we’re VIOLENTLY prepared to give a spirited talk tonight, rounding out the final date of our feisty “All Points Ontario” Spring 2012 tour!

Sure, Ottawa put up a good, fair fight. And Toronto, that lakeside hellhole, it took a BITE out of our ass! So yeah, we’re seeing double but we won’t let that stop us. We’ve got one more talk left in us, and shit goes down at 7 in the P.M., or, uh, 19:00 in the P.M. here in Waterloo shortly. Be ready We are coming for you!

Here’s the link to lock down that last-second ticket. Be there!

Hell, we were on Facewhizz too, utilizing billion dollar technology! Not bad, not bad.

And for the love of Tim Horton, buy one of our “Canada Collected” posters, you guy! We’ve got a stack. You need one. Seriously. We’ll be selling them at “Waterloo-Only” prices! Act now. Spruce up that Ontario apartment? Or Kitchener halfway house? Or cell over at “her Majesty’s Royal Clink? Lean-to? Works well in all domiciles.

See you at the show! It’s a a movie theater and that means one thing: “Popcorn.” Er, two things. “Popcorn” with “Extra Butter.” Wham.

It was great to meet you and hear you speak tonight!

Your graphic for this post oddly ties in with one of your themes - that water tower is new. Here is the beautiful old one it replaced. So sad to lose these great designs.

Hey Aaron,

Didn’t get a chance to say hi in Waterloo tonight. There were a lot of people lined up for your Canadiana posters.

You mentioned you like to go ‘junking’ and I thought I’d pass on where I like to spend a free afternoon in Waterloo if I have time: The Timeless Material Company. Delicious hunks of old wood and rusty rivets and cracked pressure meters and whatnot. It’s like our version of a junkyard IKEA. They dismantle old factories by day as a demolition company and sell all the cool shit they come by on the side.

Check it out if you have time.

Yo bud… It’s TW’s little brother. I was talking to Aleshire last night and he told me about the stuff you’ve got going on right now. Awesome! Keep up the good work!!

The poster looks fantastic. It’s like the colors are fighting one another to be the first to jump out. The acid green on blue, in particular, really sets it off.
