SOMETHING WE’VE BEEN WORKING HARD ON: The Memo Book Archive by Field Notes!

Special thanks to my lady Leigh McKolay for scanning, clipping and prepping the majority of the collection. Without her, we would’ve been in a bad place. Thank you, sweetie.

Thank you to Eric Lovejoy for kicking this thing off some years back. And to Dawson for coding the whole mess up so beautifully.

And finally, to my trusty, rusty, old, outdated Epson super scanner for holding up through the project, and all these years. What a pile of shit, but still worth his salt.

WE EVEN MADE A LITTLE MOVIE OF THE AFFAIR: Steve from Field Notes Midwest came out to Portland and we made a little moving picture. Watch it. You’ll see me and my girth hobbling around the shop, trying to make sense of the collection, how proud we are of it and how they fit in to the story how we brought Field Notes into the world. That’s where it all started. Remember that. Wow.

AND OF COURSE: Thank you to Michele, Bryan and Jim at Field Notes Midwest for putting this whole thing together, and hell, for the whole thing. So proud, you guys! Thank you!
