Coal Headwear Hangtag Stoppers

A PLEASANT SURPRISE: Sometimes, we’ll forget about stuff that leaves the shop. You know, going way too fast for our own good and once something leaves, it’s on to the next thing, and so the cycles continues. And you sorta forget about it, you know?

Brad from Coal sent a mess of hats down from Seattle, and the the hats had our new round of hangtags, and, “pick stoppers.” That’s what you are seeing up above. Those little picks keep the hangtag connected to the hat. Otherwise, the little “plastic T” thingie wouldn’t stay in the weave of the hat. Just a little something Coal does.

Anyway, we forgot about the picks from last year, and were pleasantly surprised to see them. They turned out awesome, and we’re thankful as hell to work on Coal. Coming up on 10 years!!! Wow.

I found one of these picks in the parking lot at Heavenly Ski Resort in South Lake Tahoe. I went to look up “the band” it belonged to…
you know, Coal Headwear - never heard of them…
Funny, that you use guitar picks to hold the tags on your stuff. Pretty cool. I have repurposed mine and will rock out with it.
Maybe I’ll write a song called Coal headwear…
