15 SWEATY MINUTES IS ALL YOU GET FOR EACH VOLLEY: And man, that shit goes by fast! Got up crazy early this morning to battle it out with the very-talented Noper from Bucharest, Romania in a wild card Layer Tennis match. Good, clean, cosmic fun.

Here’s the match in full size color glory. Get in there! Don’t miss the juicy commentary by Jason Koxvold, director of creativity. Hell of a wordsmith, that guy.

Vote it up on the the Twitter feeds! Info here, citizens…

I tried like hell to “expand my consciousness” in this match, venturing into as much “out of body” territory as possible. Just to “mix shit up” as much as I could. See where it takes us? Outer reaches, sorta. More color, you know? More wild, maybe. Take something, mix it up, shoot it back. Good, clean, cosmic fun. Love this shit.

Thank you , Noper! Thank you, Coudal Partners!

There is One Comment

I think this Noper dominated the match; though it wasn’t a good pairing to begin with—you’re coming from two different worlds, visually, and there doesn’t seem to be much in the way of middle ground. Had you offered the opening volley it might’ve been totally different, but it’s hard to cross swords with such a distinctive and decidedly non-vector approach. I can’t believe he came up with those panels in 15 minutes, wonder if he had a bunch of stock scenes sort of lined up and ready to go? Who knows. I don’t think I could handle the pressure of Layer Tennis, I salute you.
