Late Edition Patriotism

It’s late and Leigh’s snoozing on the couch while I wrap the day’s riff raff up. I just downloaded all the images from the GF1 and iPhone from the Minneapolis mission. Ryno and I hit up Cheapo in St. Paul and I grabbed a couple Minneapolis local cuts. Shit like the Seawhores and Gay Witch Abortion. I know, I know, good clean fun.

WHEN HITTING RECORD STORES: I always hit the “Patriotic” section. Incredible illustrations and logos and type, just slathered in red, white and blue. Bicentennial celebrations, technological tributes, weird poetry, etc. Prob’ly all unlistenable, but hell, such a nice pile of stuff to look at. One I picked up was “Eddie Albert recites the Constitution.” Big fun.

Here’s a trio of images for ya:

01. “North vs. South”
02. “Coast to Coast.”
03. “45”

I always go for the patriotic section too (and the “weird” section) - but you know this ;) …. Look at what I found while you were away: http://leighmckolay.wordpress.com/2010/08/18/for-your-listening-pleasure/
