Laying Low In Newark
Posted at 04:30 PM

In the Newark International Airport, laying low, biding my time until I hop my flight to M√ľnich later tonight. I’d like to extend a personal explosion of appreciation to the “charging kiosks” around the terminal brought to you by the good people of SomethingOrOtherMobile, whom I can quite the remember now, as the plane is boarding. I charged my phone up all the way, waiting for the flight. Nice. I would’ve been fucked, otherwise.

I flew out of Portland this morning, five hours over to Newark. Had an empty seat in between a Chinese lady going to hang with her family in Chinatown, to celebrate the Chinese New Year. Nice lady. A good flight across the waistband of the country, more or less.

Now I’m heading to Germany, and I’m trying to psych myself up to sleep a bunch before I land. I know it won’t happen. 8-hour flight. Here goes…
