Get a load of those! Orange rubber bands, people! I’m just telling you right now: I couldn’t be more happy, just knowing I’ve got a ton of these for the shop. Makes me thankful to be alive for some reason. I’m not gonna question it. I’m just gonna start bundling shit up with these. So good. So orange.

WE ALWAYS TALK ABOUT HOW BUSY WE ARE: Well here’s some proof. Giro and Bell have a new fit system initiative that just launched called, the “One Step Fit System.” See the little “smiley helmet kid” logo in the upper corner? A little something we made here.

Technically, this is a Wilderness™ project, as Goo and I worked on it with the good people of Nemo. They built the site and made the video, and, gave the logo that extra little kick of “Web 2.0” that it needed to really shine. In collaboration with Nemo’s Leo “Battle Axe” Battersby over at Nemo. That little animation at the end of the commercial is so cool. Moving and stuff. Wow.

Thanks to Kevin and Don from Bell. Thanks to Lewman, Leo, Joel and Jennifer from Nemo. All of you. Hell yes. Real proud of this one!

Making a living people. Making a living.

There you go. Back to being busy as shit.

BEST THING I’VE SEEN ALL MONTH, BESIDES INGLOURIOUS BASTERDS LAST NIGHT: Walt Disney’s organizational chart. Man. So good. (Thanks, Robert!)

THANK YOU, AVANTAGGIO: It’s been awhile since we hit up The Bottle Cap Man. It’s as good a time as any. Get in there and get sticky.

IN CASE YOU WERE WONDERING: Shoes of the Presidents. Interesting. Something to think about.

President Obama’s shoes, right there. Good lookin’ kicks, man. (via ACL’s Twitter feed.)

BY WAY OF CANADA, THE ST. PIERRE DIVISION: 2009 Film Stamps. Pretty cool. Fun. Thanks, Steve!

GUITAR CRAZY, KINDA: Next guitar I am gunning for: Guild Thunderbird! And across town, at a local guitar store, sits the raddest green DeArmond Jet-Star, which, for a mellow price could quench this thirst. Good god. So fucking awesome. Such a beast.

Same kind of deal Fred Cole plays in Dead Moon/Pierced Arrows. Another guy that played a Thunderbird was the one and only Muddy Waters. I got my mojo working!

ON THE PLAYER:

01. Muddy Waters - At Newport 1960
02. Cardinal - S/T
03. Oxes - Oxxxes
