FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: Those books are done.

And man, I’d love to show you three covers. So proud. Can’t just yet. Will when I can.

-All images are in place.
-All illustrations illustrated.
-All overprinting checked and double-checked.
-The spelling is tighter than a fiddle string. Punctuation, too.
-Bleeds at .125”. Tight and right.
-Nothing spotty about the spot colors.
-Not a double space to be found.
-No widows.
-No bad rags.
-Couple sketchy moments with ink density, but oh well.

Checkmate.

It’s time to make some some PDFs and ship this bastard batch to exotic lands, across oceans.

COMING UP BLANK: The “Z” logo above, well, I’ve got no idea what it’s from, who made it or where it belongs. I can tell you this much: It’s from “Murray’s Archive” and that’s all I know. Real professional, I know. Sure is nice, though. The kind of stuff that stops me in my tracks.

WELL, HELL, THAT JUST MIGHT BE A FIRST: A kid in Jamestown, New York gets a logo I made tattooed on his arm. Wow. That shit’s for life, man. We’re here to tell you that logo will stand the test of time.

If you need some shred gear, and are in the greater jamestown, New York area, we can’t think of a better place to stock up that Suburban Blend. Ask for Pete. One hell of a guy. (Thanks for sending that shot in, Billy! Mucun appreciated, man.)

MYFREETIMETAKEN: Thisblogtaken by the good people of Thisdotcomtaken. So many great clicks in there. Bravo.

TOMORROW NIGHT: The Road. Been waiting for this one for way too long. Hell, I’m pretty sure they made the thing over two years ago, now. I remember Forgash talking about working on it here in Portland, and going fishing with Viggo and shit. And man, that was a long time ago, back when I used to like Forgash. How times have changed.

Good choice on the tunes. Being from Boise, we’re real proud of our Built to Spill. In fact, I just saw them again last night, and I was sporting my trusty Action Cap. No lie. Epic to say the least.

Dude your catalogs are always awesome, any way I could order one or know any places to find one?

Looking forward to see there in Paris next week. Digital or in print. I’m confident so I’ll say it right now.
Good job Aaron.

I especially like the “not a double space to be found.” Double spacing after periods is by far my biggest pet peeve. I’ve been spreading the word about no double spacing at the office. It’s a slow battle.

Congrats on the project completion.

I stumbled across this photo while looking at baseball pics, and thought you might like it as much as I do:
