The image above was sent in by one Bryan Risinger. Here’s what he had to say: “I was going through my Grandfather’s WW2 folder today and found this old railway tag.” Excellent. Here’s the other side of the side. Check out that little orange reinforcement piece on that. So nice. So gone, too. Kinda sad. Thanks for sending in, man.

LEIGH’S GOT THE EYE, AND SHE’LL TELL YOU THAT RIGHT TO YER FACE: Here’s Leigh’s Flickr set from our little roadtrip last week. Here’s what she had to say regarding the link, “I take better photos than you.” There you go. Good work, lady. Time for a G10, we’d reckon!

HANDS OFF THE HORNS, PORTLANDERS: What the fuck is up with all the horn action out there on the streets? That shit’s for New York and Bombay and shit, man. I’ve been playing by the rules, and am still managing to get yahoos behind me laying on the horn. I hear them all day long outside the shop. What gives?

There no link for this one, just a little ranting. Deal with it.

JUST LIKE IT SAYS: Courier trucks. Ads for a local library, or something. Nicely done. Good use of the rigs. Wow. (Sent in by James, and we’d like to offer up a hearty, “Thanks, man.)

WITH THE SUMMER HEAT AND ALL, AND OUT COMES THE RACY SHIT: A handful of x-rated movie posters from back in the day! Did someone turn up the heat in here, or is it just me? (Thanks, Chris. My mind is in the gutter.)

TONIGHT, AT MIDNIGHT: BrĂ¼no. Good, clean fun.

KING OF THE BREEDS: I’m claiming that’s a Dachshund in this link. Gotta be. The good people of Reference Library find some pretty amazing stuff.

If you haven’t seen ‘em already, check out these amazing hand-painted pennants:

So damn good. This is what Ryno should be doing full-time. Hell, me too, if I could illustrate worth a damn.
