What yer seeing above is the way Dodge would tell you “this Dodge manual is the 1960 edition.” Perfect.

POSTER UPDATE: Based on our half-ass Monday afternoon shipping, those posters should start showing up all over the globe today, tomorrow and so on.

“Oranging Up” America one poster at a time, and Canada to the north, as well as in distant exotic lands across the globe. You know who you are. Watch those mailboxes.

ONE MORE REASON TO KEEP GOING: Just like the good people of Quality Vintage said, “Nice orange CASE tractor and lettering right here.”

Here’s one more a couple clicks after the Case one. Use this image for strength.

OUCH: A Flickr set about “electricity and how fun it can be” for you and me: “30 Ways to Die of Electrocution.” I’ve taken note all 30 applications as, I want to live a long, long time. Just sayin’. (Thanks to Mitch for sharing!)

COWLICK CONTROL: 10engines adds the “DDC Hair Organizer” to their “Taking The Ferry Look No. 2.” post today. I gotta say: That’s a pretty good look.

I hope to be taking a ferry this summer over to Mackinac Island with Leigh. My hair will be organized the whole day. Hers too. Buy one of these combs. They’re pretty dumb, but they’re just what yer head needs.

DAN MAC SPEAKS THE TRUTH: “As usual, things went to shit in the mid ’80s.” Always the story.

THE PAUL RAND RESOURCE: Mr. Rand’s graphic design legacy.

Have respect for the masters of the craft, readers. Learn something here.

ON THE PLAYER TODAY:

01. “Josephine” from the upcoming Magnolia Electric Co. release.
02. Pattersoon Hood - Murdering Oscar (and other love songs)
03. Smog - A River Ain’t Too Much To Love

I got mine today and boy is that orange! Now I have to adjust my monitors and everything in my room because of the glare. Thanks!

Re: America is F*cked”:
sometimes it’s the small events in life that manage to coalesce into the supremely significant ones. Great power exists in the quotidian. Such events require a certain degree of sideways looking attention and often a great deal of profanities just for emphasis, because people sometimes don’t get it straight off and they need a beating, but pain is a great teacher.
I enjoyed it so much I linked it (June 18th). I hope you don’t mind

My parting sentence was no shallow thought.
