DAYWRECKER WARNING: There goes the day. First, get yerself orientated by reading, “A Celebration of Union Logos and Emblems” and then prepare to have yer mind blown over, and over, and over, and….

…don’t miss their “artifacts” section. Some real gems in there.

Union logos. One of my favorite genres. Incredible stuff.

AS PROMISED, FRIENDS: A Flickr set from our Spokane Adventure over the weekend. And we’re calling it, “Spokane Junkin’ Mission No.01.” 39 views in full color. Dale, Jess and myself…being dicks, driving, seeing things, making pitstops, making logos in the back seat of a car for the country, etc. You know, doing what we do.

MULTI-BALL, ALRIGHT: Daniel Holter of Milwaukee, Wis. comes in with an incredible link, that, due to the busyness of everything else, I was gonna hold on to until tomorrow, but, aw, fuck it, here you go: “A collection of vintage pinball machines.”

And, we just gotta say this one—ust once—while I’m messing with a pinball link and all: “Ball lock.” There you go.

GETTING CLOSER EACH DAY: Ford van E150 XLT, 87500 miles, tow package, new tires, 12 passenger. Runs good!!!

Dale was on the ichat and had this to say about this one: “Don’t need to change a thing on this one.” The truth is spoken there.

THEY’RE OUT THERE: You just gotta know how to look. Greg Meehan was showering this morning and “discovered this logo on the cold tap.” Now we’re talking. Good eye.

Figures you’d find a 15 passenger van in Battle Ground. With all the Apostolic Lutherans out in North Clark County, they got to have some big rigs to haul around all 12 children, one for each apostle. Doin it for god people!

thats exactly what I was thinking when I read that…make sure the vinyl residue is cleaned off left behind from the Church’s logo… at least you can haul Baker and Larry around in style…

Yikes… a link from Master Draplin?!! I’m honored, seriously. Glad you dug it, man.

Just another reason to admire your site and it’s author. I’m a union man and love those logos & your posting of them (and other union logos over the years). We’re working hard to get ready for your Florida mission. Much work to be done here in Gainesville. Solidarity Forever!

The first pic you had up of the box from the US Gauge had me thinking I knew where it was from. The second confirmed it - my old hometown - Sellersville, PA.

Don’t make it a special point on any east coast trip, but if you happen to get close, let me know.

Love the artifacts, have you made a pocket protector yet? You gotta get on that.

Had almost that identical van only a couple years older…ran it up to 234,000. Then the tranny exploded. Good rig - and the cupholder array is magnificent.

Thanks for the mention, man. Made my day!
