We love the Hot Snakes, and, equally love the design of their Thunder Down Under cover. Good noise. Good type. Good images. Good lightning bolt. Good. Feeling a tidbit sad I never got to see them in the live setting. Rats. Or, uh, “snakes.”

SUNRISE TO SUNSET: Spent the day hammering out pages for the October issue of Snowboard Mag. Enjoying a feverish pace. Shit’s looking good, and coming together very well. Fingers crossed for a smooth “correction process” as PDFs whiz back and forth over that internet to all our peeps spread out over the nation, as we race for the finish line.

ON THE DOCKET: The next time I’m in Mansfield, Ohio you can bet yer behind we’ll be purchasing a ticket for any and all of the Shawshank Redemption attractions in there. That’s my “favorite movie of all time” and that reminds me, it’s been a year or so since I watched it.
