Draplin Design Co., North America

Well, so be it.

This just in: Mom, dad and little sister Sarah are ticketed for flights to Portland on May 21st. Just like last year. Too busy to share any more details, but, this is the short list of what is in the works for while they are on the ground in Portland:

01. DDC “Garage Sale of the Year” €“”No fuckin’ baby clothes!”
02. DDC Sorta Annual “Get-Together” Bash, BBQ and Blowout.
03. Soon-to-be announced-design-firm “Open House Thing.”
04. Serious, Serious Junkin’, all over the Pacific Northwest.
05. Bowling. Mandatory.
06. Family Hellride to Coast, Seattle or Mountains.

Gonna be a hell of a weekend. Really. Don’t miss this.

Surveyors in Advertising. The proof, finally.

Dustin Ortiz, friend, colleague, contributor and all around brother to the DDC, writes us up really nice on his blog thing. Thanks, man, and let me know how that Field Notes supply is faring.

Matt Stiffler, friend, colleague and MCAD alumni to the DDC, way out there in Chicago built a hell of a thing during his time at Architects in downtown Kansas City. Coolhunting talks it up some. Bravo, man.

Pinball Publishing posts some good words about our contribution to their “2008 Designer Deck card series.” Thanks!

Hee,Hee I loved meeting your dad last year. He’s funny! Your whole family was pretty fun. Hope to see him this year too! (That’s my subtle way of inviting myself to the BBQ this year!) Can’t Wait!
