LITTLE_FIELD_NOTE_ICON.gif Quite possibly the most beautiful piece of Field Notes press to date. Man. I teared up. Really. These things are working. Very, very proud of them, and moments like this. Monocle. Classy folks.

The next couple links are worth noting a couple things: First, they are all items/sites created by good, talented people. Second, these are young people, with ideas and effort and man, the sort of spirit that makes me want to keep going for a long, long time. Thank you. Here you go:

Our new daily fix: Grain Edit from Oakland.

Aesthetic Apparatus updates their site and portfolio and everything else, and man, we are floored. Really, really good, fellas. Get over there, if you know what is good for you.

The new Blu Dot catalog is hands down the most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a while.
Beautiful photography by Dan Monick, beautiful product shots and designed up by one Matt Rezac, an old MCAD buddy back in my Minneapolis days. Bravo, man. Gorgeous.

Arlie introduced me to Dan on New Year’s Day last year in LA and he was super nice. We talked about Minneapolis for a second, as, he used to drum in Lifter Puller and grew up there. I said something like, “I moved there in 1998 because of old bands like Hüsker Dü and the Replacements.” He replied, “That’s why I left!” Something like that. A good laugh. Very, very talented guy.
