60_DAY_17.gif

Day two in Traverse City.

Just working away, firing off links here and there to those fiesty clients.

(Many, many thanks to Cam for getting everything back up-n-running. A lifesaver, he is.)

Being Friday night and all, I thought I’d get a “taste of the city” and go see some friends. Got a chance to see Derek, little Alexis, Olivia, Tad and Chad at a homegrown Tiki Bar off Silver Lake Road. Sand and surf, minus the surf. After a warm one, I ran downtown to “310” to meet Natalie Byrne and Aerin Sweeney, and their respective better halves. Sat with them for an hour, shooting the shit, telling tall tales of Northwestern living and international intrigue. Haven’t seen these ladies in over five years, so it was good to catch up. We had some wild times back in those footloose mid-’90s. Well, sorta.

Got some interesting updates from them girls regarding old flames. Some are parading around “big rocks on their fingers.” Wow. Interesting.

Came home, packed up the gear and tried to get some shut-eye before I headed out to Portland the next morning.

Gotta go make a magazine. Fuck.

godamn son! you never cease to amaze me with your energy and your design - love reading about tales of the midwest and the accompanying pics. never stop, if for no other reason than the inspiration you give the rest of us.

yours truly lives in seattle these days - keeping busy between the video and the design - holler when you’re back in pdx. i wanna hear more about your current projects.
