Jay Farrar live. Hmmm. Been there. Slept through it. Not sure about dropping loot on a disc documenting the experience.

I’m fucking hooked on that Neutral Milk Hotel shit, too. Weird. Addictive.

Went and saw the Richmond Fontaine last night. Best fuckin’ (small) show I’ve ever been to. Jesus I love those guys. You’re so goddamn lucky to live by ‘em and catch shows with some regularity. It’s probably once every two years they come this way. Sounded awesome, played their asses off, totally humble, totally approachable afterwards; I shook hands and gave hearty approbations, wishing for them “not to be strangers” around these parts. Bought a bunch of merchandise, it’s money well-spent. Sounded even better live than on disc, which is the exception to the rule. Goddamn!
